fresh, lovely look
I know that succulents aren't new. My grandmother, Alice LaBree, used to grow them on her patio; I've always delighted in their flower-like looks. I just love how fresh and modern they look particularly in these elegant containers.

Safari Adventure
On days like today, when I've been chained to my desk since before dawn and completely forgotten what natural sunlight looks like, nothing sounds more wonderful than a glamorous safari adventure. |

Hey, what's the bright idea
Yesterday, I found an end table/night stand very similar to this one. It was put out with my neighbor's trash. So, I picked it up, brought it home, and have decided it needs a make-over.

I think it will look great repainted in a bright, bold color.
There is something so fun about bright, lively furniture--don't you think?

Tuft Love
In preparation for my upcoming upholstery class, I've been looking through tons of pictures for inspiration and have discovered that I have a bit of a crush on anything tufted.

Lorraine LeBree
2011 is here, and we are thrilled to be launching Lorraine LeBree. Lorraine LeBree is the creation of three friends, Amy Lorraine Jones, LeKhessa King, and Jennifer Fontine. Inspired by all the charming vintage furniture that we see everywhere. Over the next several weeks and months, we'll be taking upholstery classes, sewing classes and scouting the area for vintage pieces as we launch our own little furniture atelier.
